Wanda Faye Haskin

Wanda Faye Haskin, 63, passed away on April 18th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family in Valley Center. She was born to Jasper and Delores Haskin on November 14, 1960. Wanda was a kind and loving person who was family oriented. A sister to many brothers, she was very motherly, and in fact was best friends with her own mother. Wanda had four children, Justin, Amanda, Amie and Kelsey. She was a single mother and though she held multiple jobs, Wanda never missed her children's school or sporting events. Wanda loved going to garage sales and the city-wide Valley Center Garage sale was her favorite “holiday”. Wanda would be the first to help a friend or family member with a problem, and she loved talking on the phone, though often she was just listening. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed.

Wanda is preceded in death by father, Jasper Haskin; mother, Delores (Larcade) Haskin; daughter, Amie Switzer.

She is survived by son, Justin Switzer; daughters, Amanda (Glen) Davidson, Kelsey (Eric) Gentilella; grandchildren, Taylor, Madelyn and Maci; siblings, Rocky Haskin, Lloyd Newman, and Edward Newman.

A visitation will be held Wednesday April 24th, 2024, with family greeting friends from 4:00-7:00 pm at Wulf-Ast Mortuary in Colwich, Kansas. The funeral will be held on Thursday April 25th, 2024, at 10:30 am at LeVenue 109 W Main St., Valley Center, Kansas.

Flowers may be delivered to Wulf-Ast Mortuary 213 W. Wichita, Colwich, Kansas 67030 on Wednesday April 24th from 2:00 -4:00 pm.
